1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in encrypted/hashed form by our authentication provider; we do not have access to your plaintext password).

Content you provide. We collect the content you submit within the Service, including your daily rating (1–10), your written "moment" entries, and any designation of an entry as a favorite ("Hall of Fame") or as manually marked ("Lore") ("User Content").

Device and usage information. We may collect limited technical information such as your device's local time zone (used solely to determine calendar dates for your entries) and general app usage/error information as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

We do not currently collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or biometric information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy accordingly.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authenticating your account and storing and displaying your User Content back to you;
• Send you the daily reminder notification you configure within the app (this is a local notification generated by the app on your device; it is not sent through a third-party push notification or SMS service);
• Diagnose technical problems, maintain security, and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service;
• Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time information is collected, or with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information or User Content to third parties, and we do not use your User Content to serve you third-party advertising. We reserve the right to change this practice in the future, in which case this Policy will be updated in advance of any such change to the extent required by applicable law.

3. How We Store and Share Information

Your information is stored using third-party infrastructure and database service providers (currently, Supabase and its underlying cloud hosting partners) who process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it. We may also disclose information:

• To service providers who perform functions on our behalf (hosting, authentication, error monitoring, and similar operational functions);
• If required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of mmrys, our users, or the public;
• In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, in which case information may be among the assets transferred;
• With your consent or at your direction.

mmrys is provided and operated by an individual/sole proprietor at this time and is not currently a registered legal entity. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this Policy refer to the individual operator of the Service.

4. Your Choices and Rights

Access and correction. You can view and edit your User Content directly within the app at any time.

Deletion. You may delete individual entries at any time directly within the app. You may also permanently delete your entire account and all associated User Content at any time using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Account screen. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; we are not able to recover deleted accounts or content once the deletion process has completed.

Notifications. You may disable the daily reminder notification at any time in your device's system settings or within the app.

Regional privacy rights. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation), including rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any such rights, contact us using the information in Section 9 below. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to verify your identity, and to deny requests that are not required to be honored under applicable law, to the fullest extent permitted.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your User Content in accordance with Section 4 above, except that we may retain limited information as required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes, or as otherwise permitted by law, for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 13 (or such other minimum age as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect your information, including relying on industry-standard security practices provided by our infrastructure and authentication providers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. You use the Service and provide your information at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mmrys disclaims any liability arising from unauthorized access to, alteration of, or destruction of your information, except where such liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law (which may include posting the updated Policy within the app or on our website with a revised "Last updated" date). Your continued use of the Service after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically.
